Sea Monkey (Sea Monkeys on Mars Kit) Review

I had Sea Monkeys, I did like them, but I was not impressed so that's why I'm not giving this a good review, but not a bad one ether. I would have loved to have something like this before I started my Sea Monkeys. So I am going to tell you how I liked it along with how I did it and I hope this will help you , on deciding to do Sea Monkeys or not and help you know what to do to raise them.

Review:

I can not give them 5 stars, I'll tell you why. I got the first batch to hatch, and then they died after about two weeks. A normal life span for Sea Monkeys. I had rilly enjoyed them so I got some more eggs and tried again. I got a heard of them this time, but they died when they were still tinny w ency little ones you could hardly see them! So at this point I was getting a little frustrated. But I thought maybe just got a bad batch. So I sent in to the company for new ones. I got them an I started them. I wanted and waited for weeks, but still no Sea Monkeys. I finely gave up and dumped them. So I did not have that good of an experience with them. But they are cool and if you want to try them I encourage you! Have fun with it whatever you do.

How to:

Here is a list of interesting Sea Monkeys videos on different topics.

Step one: This is not necessary, but it would not hurt to clean the tank. To clean it you will want an old tooth brush, you want to rinse your toothbrush off with bottled water, distilled water or spring water (that is what I used). You never want any tap watter in the Sea Monkey tank.

Put some vinegar in the tank, scrub it with the toothbrush. Then rinse it out good (remember no tap water).

sea monkey update

Now all my sea monkeys have died again I am so disappointed. i thought I would try it one more time so... I sent in for new eggs, to get from the company. Because a got a slip of paper with my kit. That if you sent that in with money (I had to send three dollars, it may depend on where you live.) They will send you the water purifier and the eggs.

They hatched!

I got them to hatch! I saw one the first day and then I did not see any the next day. I thought my lone one had died. But I kept heating it and then about five day latter I saw one then two then five and seven! The number kept on growing! I was so exited.....to be continued

Try Again

I had three sea monkeys last time I updated tow had died. Then my last one died. I found out each sea monkey only lives 2-6 weeks. But the usually reproduce so when you have one die you has A baby to take it's place. I waited 2 weeks to see if I got any baby and I did not. So now I am trying to start new ones. I an hoping they will hatch and thrive and reproduce.

Why?

I had two females and one male in my sea money tank. Both my females were pregnant as you may remember. I was so exited that I was going to have more sea monkeys.

And then one of my females died then about a week latter the other female died. I have no clue why they died. They still had some eggs in there sacks when they died. I am hoping they released a few eggs at least, so they will hatch. If nothing happens in a few weeks I am going start all over from the beginning.

Pregnant Sea Monkeys

I have two females in my sea monkey tank. They are both pregnant, you can tell because the have eggs in there egg sacks. You can't really see the egg sacks when they are not full of eggs, but when there full of eggs they look brown in color.

So I am patiently waiting, hoping I will get more sea monkeys. It has been two days now since they got pregnant and had their sacs full of eggs. They still have eggs in there sacks. Sometimes they will float upside down and some tinny dots will float behind them. I believe that is them releasing the eggs.

sea monkey update

My Sea-Monkeys are now almost a month old. I think they still have a little growing to do though. But they are much bigger now. They are quite active, My bother and me named them. One is named active One is named swimmer and one is named Christmas (my brother named that one). I feed them every five days and arrogate there tank once a day.
