How to Make a Night Cap

This pattern is for a night hat. For those nights when it is cold in the house, too keep your head just a little warmer. It is also easy on the wallet; all you need is a fabric tape measure, scissors and an old sheet. You’re probably saying I don’t want to wear a sheet on my head! But I tell you it looks nothing like a sheet after your done (especially if you use a sheet with a pattern etc.), of course you’ll want too wash it too. If your still against it that’s fine. But here are the steps anyway.

·         Of course avoid any holes. Finde a good spot in the sheet.

·         Measure the circumference of your head.

·         Divide that measurement in two.

·         Fold a good part of the sheet in half.

·         Take that number you got when you divided in two, measure the fabric to match that number.

·         Cut the fabric in the basic shape of the top of your head (a half circle will fit most people.)

·         You will have a hole at the top of your hat now, you will need to turn the fabric inside out, and sew the hole closed.
